To ensure the best fit, each dress is carefully tailored for the needs of each bride. Once the details of your order have been reviewed by our team we will get to work creating your dress based on your specific requirements.

Due to the custom and hand-embroidered nature of our Dresses, returns are accepted under certain conditions. We strongly recommend brides take careful consideration when purchasing, to help you we offer a free virtual assessment with the designers of L’ezu that will provide you with all the support you need to make sure you get a perfect style and the correct size!

We break returns into two separate categories:

  1. Items with faults (Faulty Items)

  2. When you have changed your mind about your order and would like to return it

Faulty items

L’ezu Bridal carefully inspects and documents each item before it is shipped, to ensure there are no defects, and that the color, size, and design match the order. We only use first-class shipping options to ensure safe and careful delivery.

Minor & major faults

In the unlikely event of minor faults, items can be returned to our atelier for fixing or replacement.

Minor Faults

In the unlikely event of minor faults, or if your dress is not the same size, style, or color that you purchased, you can return your items to our atelier where we will make the necessary fixes before safely shipping your dress back to you.

Major faults

For an item to be accepted as having major faults, it must first be reviewed by L’ezu Bridal

If you believe your wedding dress contains a fault, this is what you need to do:

  • Email us at info@lezu.com with your order number, clear photos of the item, as well as a description of the fault/issue.  This email must be sent within 7 days of receiving your item.

  • If your concern cannot be resolved remotely, we may request that you deliver the dress to our atelier for evaluation by our team

  • If your dress is deemed to have major faults, we will repair or replace the original dress and also reimburse you for any extra shipping costs incurred.

  • If we find that your dress is not deemed to have major faults, a repair/replacement will not be offered and we will return the dress to you at your expense.

What is not considered a major fault?

As our dresses are hand-made with fine materials and often use custom embroidery, each dress will have its own unique characteristics. Therefore certain things cannot be accepted as faults. Such as:

  1. Small changes in color. It is common that color will vary up to 15 % from the original color

  2. It is common for certain silks (such as mikado and silk dupioni for example) to show prominent yarn lines

  3. Due to the type of material, it is normal for dresses made with silk to appear somewhat wrinkled appearance

  4. Some dresses are made using silks such as taffeta and duppioni that are made using thread runs (where one of the yarns brakes or get stretched). When using these materials it is completely normal for this to happen.

Have you changed your mind and want to return the item?

We have a 7-day return policy. This means you have 7 days to request a return.  Not all dresses are eligible for a refund. This is dictated by how your dress was tailored and if there were customizations involved.

How will I know if I’ll be eligible for a return when placing my order?

To ensure peace of mind, we always clarify with you if your dress isn’t eligible for returns at order time. This will occur either during the consultation process or before we process your order. If your item is not eligible for returns, we will not start your order until you have confirmed you understand this. If you confirm that you understand that your item is not eligible for returns it is not possible to renege on this agreement after the fact.

How to request and make a return:

  1. Any items received without first being accepted for return by our team will not be accepted. Please email us within 7 days of receiving your item at info@lezu.com requesting a return. Make sure to include your order number

  2. If your return is accepted we will send you a return shipping label and delivery instructions to safely send your dress.

What dresses are eligible for returns?

The type of tailoring and if your dress has customizations will determine if you are eligible for a return. As mentioned, we will always clarify with you if your dress isn’t eligible for returns at order time. All dresses are tailored to match your body shape. What type of tailorings we need to carry to achieve the right fit will affect if your dress can be returned.

Your dress can be returned when it was made as a standard size and without any customizations. For a full price breakdown of customizations, please see consult additional-pricing-info

What is standard size?

Standard size is when we do not need to increase the bust size or the length of your dress. For those who are 5.9ft or taller, or with a bust size of DD or larger, we may need to make extra customizations to the dress to fit you, we call these non-standard sizes.

What are customizations?

If your dress has customizations it cannot be returned. Customizations include things like adding sleeves to your dress or making changes to the length of the train on your dress. For a full list of customizations available, please see our additional pricing info.

Refunds

Once we have received, inspected, and approved your item at our atelier, we will process the refund in full minus a 30% restocking fee of the dress cost before shipping costs. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and L’ezu Bridal cannot accept liability for the loss/damage of the returned goods during shipping.

The item must be returned with tags on and in its original condition, without having been worn, altered, or washed. If any loss of value is incurred, the buyer is responsible. This loss would be in addition to the 30% deduction.

L’ezu Bridal reserves the right to refuse a repair, replacement, or refund if you do not notify us of the fault or issue within 7 days of receipt, and/or do not return the item upon request to L’ezu Bridal within 14 days. This does not affect any statutory rights that may arise.
