L'EZU DESIGNER FEATURED ON VOYAGE LA

One of our founders, and lead designer, Patricia Nevil, was featured on Voyage LA a little earlier this month and we finally have a chance to share it with you! In the article, you'll delve a little into Patricia's background, what drew her to fashion, and the evolution of L'ezu bridal over the years.

ANGELYN + BRENDAN

We can't wait any longer to share our L'ezu bride Angelyn's wedding with you! We're in love with the DIY vibes and rustic feel to this lovely wedding. Clearly, Angelyn is creative (seeing as her gorgeous desserts were grocery bought and decorated by her!), and we wanted to match her airy summer wedding vibes as well as her attention to detail when creating her gown chiffon and embroidered gown. Congratulations Angelyn and Brendan!

SUNNY + SEAN

As promised on our Instagram, it's a new week, so there's a new L'ezu bride feature. This week's lovely bride is Sunny. Her delicate chiffon dress is so ethereal, even looking back on these pictures, we're captured by it's simplicity and beauty. Not only is the plunging neckline dramatic and fun, but the structure and form flattery of the dress fit Sunny effortlessly. Congratulations on your beautiful day Sunny and Sean!

NEW AUTUMNAL PHOTOSHOOT

It's officially the season of Pumpkin spice, hayrides and most of all berry tones! Here at L'ezu, we love October, and we thought the best way to showcase some of our new collection was through this lovely fall photoshoot. We've included a few pieces from our new line of separates!

LINDA + WILL

We've just received these gorgeous shots from our L'ezu bride, Linda's April wedding. This was one of the loveliest, most detail oriented weddings we've ever taken part in. From the place cards to the lovely floral headpieces, we're especially grateful that their wonderful photographer has shared all of the originals with us! Congratulations to our beautiful bride Linda and her husband Will!

FEATURE ON WEDDING SHOP STORIES

We are so proud to announce that L'ezu was a chosen feature on Wedding Shop Stories, an online wedding blog that outlines small business success stories. Our very own co-founder and lead designer, Patricia Nevil, gave a fabulous interview.

Here's a small excerpt:

Q: What do you like most about your business? What part of it is the most fulfilling?

A: The fact that I come to a playground! Always making something new and meeting new people!

Q: What advice would you like to give to people who wish to start a bridal boutique?

A: Being in the bridal industry is a passion more than a business, you need to be compassionate, assertive, flexible and most of all a good listener.

Q: What advice would you like to give to brides who walk into your boutique?

A: Enjoy the visit, and learn as much as you can about the fitting of a well made garment.

Check out the whole interview here.

BEHIND THE SCENES- A L'EZU PHOTOSHOOT

Our web designer and social media manager, Andrea, got a chance to photograph behind the scenes at our last Follies photoshoot. Now that the gorgeous pictures are released, we thought we'd show a different perspective on the bridal fashion industry.

RIA + ALLEN WEDDING

We were struck by the simplistic beauty of Ria and Allen’s special day. The understated dress we made for Ria was just the right touch for her courthouse ceremony but also shone beautifully at her lovely reception. Congratulations Ria and Allen! You were a pleasure to work with!

This desert wedding is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Our perfect bride Melissa married Edward in a heart shaped strapless gown with lace appliqué. We loved the blue tones of her lovely bridesmaids, as well as the stunning photography by Michael Segal. Congratulations Melissa and Edward!

ROMANTIC UNIQUE SPACE PHOTOSHOOT

Two of our favorite gowns were chosen to be featured in this lovely shoot with Free Hope Photography. The photoshoot they curated was beautiful, featuring vintage rentals, berry toned florals, and stunning calligraphy. We're so grateful to be included and the dresses looked gorgeous!

VANESSA + SEBAS WEDDING

This was a very special day for us. The eldest son of our L'ezu co-founder Corina, Sebas, married the lovely Vanessa. We couldn't be prouder of the lace, open backed dress we created for Vanessa, who also couldn't be a more wonderful daughter to welcome to the L'ezu family.

DANIELLE + LOGAN

Our L'ezu bride Danielle married her wonderful man Logan in this awesomely eclectic ranch wedding featured on the popular wedding blog Green Wedding Shoes! We loved working with the artistically inclined Danielle on her stunning gown with lace bell sleeves. The dramatic red lip perfectly complemented the cranberry red infused florals and completed her wedding look making this one of our favorites! A quote from the bride herself:

"We are all over the place so we decided it’s ok to go against what everything says about what you should or shouldn’t do. We knew we wanted a long farm style dinner. so we had one long table with 100 guests with really really good food. We love games so we had bocce ball and badmitton and a giant Jenga set was our “guest book” that they signed the blocks instead of some book we would never look at again. We love taxidermy so we incorporated that as well."

Congratulations Danielle and Logan!

NATASHA + DAVID WEDDING

We loved working with Natasha on her dream gown. She brought in a few pictures of gowns that inspired her, and we worked from there, adding the delicate French Chantilly lace and soft embroidered motifs to her mermaid silhouette. We love the romance of the low-back and peek-a-boo lace. Congratulations Natasha and David!

LINDSAY + CHRIS WEDDING

L'ezu bride Lindsay didn't have a specific theme in mind, but she always knew she wanted a classic spring Pasadena wedding. The yellow calla lilies contrasting the navy blue accents allowed her stunning strapless lace appliqué gown along with her embroidered belt to truly pop. Congratulations Lindsay and Chris!

JENNA ELFMAN AS FIRST LADY IN L'EZU

We couldn't have been more thrilled to create this gorgeous gown for NBC's newest comedy "1600 Penn". Jenna Elfman, as the First Lady was lovely walking down the aisle to the President (Bill Pullman) in the season one finale. See a few "behind the scenes" shots below!
